On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the Polish Language Major at TUFS cooperated with the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in organizing a Polish Language Festival in front of the Polish Pavilion at the Osaka Expo 2025.

Four members of the Polish Language Major participated in the event: Associate Professor Koji Morita, representative of the Polish Language Major; Specially Appointed Lecturer Sonia Czaplewska, visiting lecturer of the Polish Language Major; and fourth-year student Mamiko Kimura and second-year student Chihiro Murakami, both from the School of Language and Culture Studies. They held workshops about the Polish language for the general public.

The Polish Pavilion was very popular from morning to evening, with a continuous line of visitors, and the members from TUFS enthusiastically welcomed visitors interested in Polish. The students, dressed in traditional Polish costumes, attracted a lot of attention and posed for photos with visitors.

At the same time, as part of the presentation of the results of Polish language education and research at TUFS, Professor Morita promoted his upcoming introductory book on Polish.
