Wikipedia Editing Event on Southeast Asia Held

On Friday, December 19, 2025, the event “Let's Edit Wikipedia Articles on Southeast Asia” was held in collaboration with the Wikimedia Japan-Malaysia Friendship. Held at the Learning Commons of the TUFS Library, participants edited Wikipedia articles on Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam using materials from the TUFS Library.

On the day, Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission / Minister of the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan (Malaysia is the ASEAN Chair in 2025), visited TUFS. He delivered opening remarks and observed the event.

Simultaneously, an editing event was held at Universiti Malaya in Malaysia. Participants connected via Zoom and interacted with each other. This provided an excellent opportunity to utilize knowledge of languages and regions to gather, organize, and disseminate information.
