Visit from Tel Aviv University

On Monday June 5th, 2017, Prof. Raanan Rein, Vice President of Tel Aviv University, and Ms. Irit Savion-Waidergorn, Deputy Chief of the Mission/Minister, Embassy of Israel, paid a visit to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and attended a meeting with Prof. Tateishi, President; Prof. Iizuka, Director of Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa; and Prof. Hagio, Director of the International Management Office.

Tel Aviv University is one of the largest, most comprehensive research universities in Israel, with approximately 30,000 students currently enrolled. The university is composed of 9 faculties, including Medicine, Law, Business, Humanities, and Fine Arts.

After introductions to both universities and a discussion opportunities for exchange in the future, Professor Ito, Vice President of TUFS joined with Tel Aviv University delegates for a campus tour to TUFS Library.
