CAAS Unit is a consortium for Asian and African research carried out in the world's top seven leading institutions in Asian and African research which invites active foreign Japanese researchers, and is a unit composed of both Japanese and foreign researchers. CAAS Unit is constructing and maintaining bases for a network of international Japanese research through collaborative research with researchers domestically and overseas, not only from within this institution.
