Visit to TUFS by[国際関係・学術協力局長] from La Universidad de Guanajuato on 14th July

On Thursday 14 ^th July 2016, Sergio Antonio Silva Muñoz, [国際関係・学術協力局長], made a visit to TUFS from La Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico, and had an informal discussion with Executive Director Iwasaki.

Joining the discussion were Prof. Nagasaki (President's Task Force/ International Affaiars) and Ms. Namizuka, Assistant Professor, Re-inventing Japan Project, who exchanged ideas on expanding relations from here on. Afterwards, the party toured the library, before observing a lesson of the short stay programme being taken by students of La Universidad de Guanajuato.

La Universidad de Guanajuato and TUFS became partner institutions in October 2014, and became partner institutions of MEXT's FY2015 Re-Inventing Japan Project (Latin America) in 2015. In addition, in 2016 TUFS's Global Japan Office was established on the campus of La Universidad de Guanajuato in 2016, and carries out networking along many different lines.
