You are cordially invited to a special lecture:

"The Religious Roots of Violence in the Middle East"

Abstract:
Violence in the Middle East has different internal and external roots. The internal roots can be divided into two categories: first, the religious roots that originate mainly in various Islamic groups and denominations that use violence in the name of Islam and claim divine motives. Second, the violence that occurs because of political, social, ethnic or other reasons. The latter are also linked to Islamic motives in order to absorb and amplify their forces and capabilities. Therefore, the most significant characteristics of conflicts in the Middle East is mixed with religious and Islamic motives. In this research-based lecture, only the Islamic roots of violence will be discussed.
