AY2026 Spring Quarter Foreign Languages Courses Course Registration

The number of students accepted to each class of the Foreign Languages ​​Courses in AY2026 is predetermined. If you wish to take Foreign Languages ​​Courses in the Spring Quarter, AY2026, refer to the “Course information” of the year you entered TUFS and the “Registration Guide for Foreign Language Courses Other Than English” before  the course registration. A new lottery registration system for Foreign Languages Courses will begin in the Spring Quarter, AY2026.

【Registration period】

  • Lottery registration period:
    From 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1 to 4:59 p.m., Monday, April 6
  • Lottery result announcement:
    6:00 p.m., Monday, April 6
  • Procedure:
    Register through the GAKUMU Information System

【Notes for registering for Foreign Languages Courses 】

  • Students may register for a maximum of two Foreign Languages Courses in the lottery for the Spring Quarter courses. When registering by lottery, you may only register  for one language. You cannot register  for two languages.  Course registration will be done automatically for the elected course(s).

  • Be careful not to overlap your timetable with courses you have been selected for in English B or English C.

  • If you want to withdraw from your course(s), you are required to complete the necessary procedures through the GAKUMU Information System during the course registration period.

  • Even if it seems that there are no vacancies in the class you want to register for, if anyone cancels the course, registration is possible as long as it is within the course registration period.

  • Students may register for a maximum of four Foreign Languages ​​Courses per language per academic year.

  • Contact Kiroku Kakari of the Educational Affairs Division if you are a 4th year student who wishes to graduate in AY2026 and requires Foreign Languages Courses credits to graduate but was unable to register due to the capacity of the class.
