Dugso (ドゥグソ）

Dugso, of Bukidnon, is a dance of thanksgiving. This is generally performed after a boutiful harvest, the birth of a male child or victory in war. It is a dance without music. A fire is lit in the belief that the smoke will carry the offering up to the gods. Dugso uses bells attached to leglets or anklets for rhythm although some use hand drums.
