He decided that he wanted to make something with his own name. And he made one piece unique, number one, yellow gold with a white enamel dial. Made by hand and inspired by his love of traditional watchmaking, it is the watch that launched Philippe Dufour as an independent watchmaker, and no longer a watch restorer or somebody who is making watches or movements for bigger brands.
