It's hard to beat vintage Rolex and the nicknames associated with some of the most iconic tool watches of all time. In the case of the Rolex Sea-Dweller, we derive a key 1970s differentiator from whether or not the dial has red text on it or not. In the ref. 1665 you would have gotten the watch either in double red form or as we see it today: sans red text, in which it goes by the name "Great White."
