On March 11th 2011, an earthquake of unprecedented catastrophe hit Japan and inflicted enormous damage in the Tohoku area of the country.
Soon after the earthquake struck east of Sendai, worldwide media began reporting about the disaster.
This attracted worldwide attention to Japan, and as a result, a very large amount of donations and relief supplies were provided from foreign countries.

In addition to monetary donations, a large number of volunteers from across the globe also donated their time to repair the devastated areas, and help those who were deeply affected by the disaster.

Nearly a year has almost passed since the earthquake struck last March.
Unfortunately, many people today have little idea of the current situation in the Tohoku area.
We, along with ten other groups, who have been participating in restoration activities in Tohoku will introduce this situation, and update everyone on the progress in Northern Japan.
