Having passed half of my stay in London by January, more determination is set on my part to continue with this unique experience and get as much as I can get interms of gender-related notions, or discussion with Phd students or appointments with professors inside and outside SOAS. I continued to attend the class on gender theories. It is becoming more interesting as we are covering women in nationalist projects and as such is at the heart of my research. Moreover, I am still attending the class human rights of women, however, the class on gender and the Middle East ended. Furthermore, I started to attend a class given by one of the most well known scholars on women empowerment, Naila Kabeer, under the title Issues in gender and development. One more class that I am attending not on a regular basis is food security.
Apart from that, I was able to attend lectures held at SOAS as well. However, I am concentrating and giving more time to writing as advised by Dr. Laleh Khalili. There are still some shortages in the development of the conceptual framework and as such I am dedicating more time for that purpose.
