Mutual Cooperation with Specified University Libraries

Based on mutual-use agreements, TUFS students and personnel can use the university libraries listed below without a letter of introduction. Note that terms of use vary from one agreement to another.

◇ When Using Specified University Libraries ◇ 
These universities can be used only to read and copy materials in the library.
* The case of ICU, you can apply for the ICU Library card and borrow the materials of ICU library.

Confirm the dates and hours when the library you wish to visit is open through its website, etc.
Use the OPAC of the university library you plan to visit, NACSIS Webcat Plus, and other databases to confirm whether the library owns materials you are looking for, in which stacks they can be found, etc.

Consult with a TUFS librarian if you wish to visit libraries of research laboratories, faculties, or departments in a university other than those listed below.
Be sure to bring your Campus Card (University student or personnel ID card) with you and complete the prescribed procedures for use when you visit one of the libraries listed below.

* Graduate students studying certain subjects at Chuo University in accordance with the credit exchange agreement can receive services (borrow books, etc.) similar to those provided under the terms of use for graduate students stipulated in the regulations for the use of the Chuo University Library.
Tokyo Metropolitan University University Library

* The agreement covers the university library in the Minami-Osawa , Hino, and Arakawa campus.
* The Minami-Osawa and Arakawa library cannot be used during examination periods (July, January, and February).
* Graduate students studying certain subjects at Tokyo Metropolitan University in accordance with the credit exchange agreement can utilize library services (borrow books, etc.) similar to those provided under the terms of use for graduate students stipulated in the regulations for the use of the Central Library, Tokyo Metropolitan University.
Tokyo Medical and Dental University University Library

Those who have a Campus Card (University student or personnel ID card) * Students taking a “Composite Area Course” as a special auditor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University can utilize library services under the same conditions as the institute’s students.

  • Undergraduate students and graduate students
    Please bring your Campus Card to ICU library and apply for using.
  • Full-time faculty members (includes emeritus professors and visiting professors)
    You are asked to bring your Campus Card and an application form which is issued at Service Counter on 2F of our library. Please come to Service Counter between 9:00 and 17:00 on weekdays with your Campus Card.

◆About overdue◆
Please note that you have to return the materials of ICU library within the loan period. ICU library charges you late fee for overdue. Please be forewarned and observe the borrowing regulation.
※ Even if you do not have your ICU Library card, you can browse and copy the materials of ICU library with your Campus Card.
※You can't use ICU library on Sunday. Sunday is open for ICU members only.
 
*National Universities University Library Graduate students and University personnel * The agreement covers only each national university’s library (central university). Visits to the libraries of faculties, departments, and research laboratories require a letter of introduction or similar document.
