The Information Center for Social and International Collaboration (ICSIC) will host a lecture by Takashi Shimada, the CEO of Indo Business Centre, Ltd. 

Mr. Shimada has worked in various fields such as consulting and lectures related to India, taking advantage of his wide experience in multiple businesses. He will give a presentation about the current business and political situation in India.

Speaker Takashi Shimada, the CEO of Indo Business Centre, Ltd. 
Biography Takashi Shimada is the CEO of Indo Business Centre. He was born in 1948 and received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Meiji University. Mr. Shimada joined the Bank of Tokyo, currently The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, in 1972. There, he served in several sections: the sales division of the head office, the Los Angeles Branch, the Automatic Data Processing Division, and the Osaka Branch. After gaining experience in those branches, he was appointed deputy manager of the New Delhi branch (1991) and then the Oceania division (1995). In 1997, following retirement from the bank, he established Indo Business Center, Ltd and has served as the CEO. He has been on TV shows, including NHK and Fuji TV, as a commentator.
