Executive Director of Pakistani Think Tank Addresses Students

On Friday, December 23, 2022, Dr. Abid Qaiyum Suleri, Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), a renowned think tank in Pakistan, who was invited to Japan by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited TUFS and gave a lecture to mainly first-year students majoring in Urdu, Hindi, and Bengali. The lecture covered a wide range of topics, including Pakistan’s and South Asia’s efforts toward the SDGs and the place of South Asia in the modern world. During the Q&A session following the lecture, students asked a variety of questions in English and Urdu. It was a valuable opportunity for students studying the South Asian region.
