On Sunday, May 22, 2022, students from the TUFS Kendo Club won prizes at the Fuchu City Kendo Individual Championships held at the Kyodo No Mori Gymnasium in Fuchu, Tokyo. Congratulations!

・ General men’s third dan section (individual competition)

Winner: Minowa Keishiro (2nd year, TUFS School of Japan Studies)

・ General men’s second dan and below (individual competition)

Winner: Nakano Junpei (3rd year, School of Languages ​​and Cultures Studies, English)

・ General women’s 1st division (29 years old or younger; individual competition)

Runner-up: Tsushima Anna (3rd year, School of International and Area Studies, Africa)
