Comments from the prizewinner:

I am extremely happy to have been awarded second place in the Prime Minister’s Cup International Malay Speech Contest. It was an honor to be able to go to Malaysia under strict COVID-prevention measures and participate in this contest, as this was something I had wanted to do since I entered TUFS. The theme of my speech was “The importance of valuable education for global development and harmony.” I want to thank my instructors, peers from the Malay program, Ms. Uchida whose participation encouraged me, and my family and friends who cheered me on from Japan. I want to especially thank Mr. Faridah for his thorough advice since the August preliminary sessions.
