In accordance with Article 4 of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies Regulations on the Selection and Termination Procedures for the Position of University President, the University will be inviting nominations for the potential candidates of the next university president to serve as the successor to the current president whose term will end on March 31, 2023. The appointed period of the next university president will be from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2027, or in case the president is reselected, it will be from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025. Details are as follows.

1. Acceptance period of nominations
Nominations will be accepted from Monday, August 22, 2022 to Friday, September 2, 2022, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, weekdays only.

2. Method of document submission
Nominations must be made by Letter of Recommendation (in prescribed form). Reason for Recommendation (in particular form), Curriculum Vitae and List of Achievements must be attached.
It must be noted that each potential candidate must be recommended by two or more persons, in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 4 of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies on the Selection and Termination Procedures for the Position of University President.

3. Place of document submission
Nomination documents must be submitted to Division Chief, General Affairs and Planning Division, General Affairs and Planning Department, 4th floor of the Administration Building.
