TUFS Emeritus Professor Wins Yomiuri Prize

On Thursday the 1st of February, TUFS Emeritus Professor Tokimasa Sekiguchi won the Scholarship and Translation category of the Yomiuri Prize for his translation of Bolesław Prus' 'The Doll' ('Lalka').
The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday the 21st of Feburary from 6pm at the Imperial Hotel (Tokyo, Uchisaiwaichou).

Emeritus Professor Tokimasa Sekiguchi: Polish literature and culture specialist. Taught Polish culture at TUFS from 1992 until his retirement in March 2013, received title of 'professor emeritus' in the following April. His publications include 'Polando to Tasha.'
