Community Interpreting ToT (Training of Trainers)

On Saturday 3 ^rd June and Saturday 1 ^st July, a two-part course aimed at training Language and Culture Supporters to be able to train community interpreters was held at the Center for Multilingual Multicultural Education and Research. Professor Minoru Naito led the training sessions, and nine Language and Culture Supporters who passed the screening process participated in the two sessions.

Participants made their own materials, held mock lectures, and gave each other criticism and advice on these, making for a very fulfilling two days. At the end of the course, participants received their course completion certificates with smiles.
