Vice-President of The University of Porto Conducted Lecture at TUFS on April 26th

On the 26th of April 2016 (Tue), Prof. Maria de Fatima Marinho, Vice-President for International Cooperation and Culture at The University of Porto (Portugal), conducted a lecture here at TUFS for the students majoring in Portuguese. The topic of the lecture was “Portuguese Literature and the Construction of Nationality”, to which the students listened very intently.

Prior to the lecture, Vice-President Marinho visited Prof. Yukie Kobayashi, Vice-President of TUFS. Prof. Sho Hagio, Prof. Naotoshi Kurosawa and Associate Prof. Rocha de Sousa were also present during the visit and a discussion regarding the future exchange between TUFS and The University of Porto took place.

Vice-President Marinho had also previously given a lecture at TUFS in 2013 after which, in December of the same year an international academic exchange agreement between TUFS and The University of Porto was concluded.
