Indonesian Educators Visit TUFS on 26th October

On Wednesday 26th October 2016, ten educators visited TUFS from various parts of Indonesia, which holds a leading position in Japanese education. The educators were invited to Japan as part of the Japan Foundation's project for the expansion and qualitative improvement of secondary level Japanese education in Indonesia.。

After observing an Indonesian lesson, the group met with students studying Indonesian, as well as international students from Indonesia. During the meeting, the international students spoke about their experiences studying abroad in Japan and the undergraduate students gave accounts of their experiences with the Japan Foundation's 'Nihongo Partners' programme. Afterwards, the students and educators split into mixed groups for discussions. For the students, this was a rare and valuable opportunity to talk with Indonesian educators.
