TUFS has signed MoU with University of Salamanca

On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the signing on Memorandum of Understanding was held between TUFS and University of Salamanca, a partner institution in Spain.

TUFS signed an academic exchange agreement with the University of Salamanca in 2008. Since then, we have conducted research exchanges and short-term student exchanges. The signing of this Memorandum makes it possible to implement one-year student exchange program.

As part of "Top Global University Project," TUFS established Global Japan Office at Faculty of Philology, University of Salamanca in September of 2015. Thereafter, TUFS has sent Japanese language lecturers in cooperation with the Japan Foundation.

The University of Salamanca will be 800 years since foundation in 2018, which is the oldest university in Spain. Old City of Salamanca is a World Heritage site, and the university in Salamanca is one of the most popular destinations for Study Abroad Programs.
