3rd Lecture in "Lively Diplomat" Series Sponsored by: Information Center for Social and International Collaboration Held on May 24th

On the 24th of May 2016 (Tue), the 3rd lecture in the “Lively Diplomat” series sponsored by the Information Center for Social and International Collaboration was given by His Excellency Mr. Marcos F. Rodríguez Costa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba here at TUFS.

Ambassador Rodríguez gave a speech titled “The history and latest situation of Cuba (History, revolution and the present)” whilst referring to the rapid progression of exchange between Japan and Cuba. 80 guests participated in the lecture which came from both inside and outside of the university who all showed a lot of interest in the current situation of Cuba.

Prior to the Lecture, Ambassador Rodríguez participated in a conference with President Tateishi, Vice-President Kobayashi, Prof. Hagio and Director Wada of the Information Center for Social and International Collaboration exchanged opinions regarding the exchange of students between TUFS and Cuba and also moving towards the conclusion of an academic exchange agreement discussed the progression of exchange between both countries.
