The Republic of Botswana became the 11th country in the series of lectures for the SADC

On the 13th of January 2016 (Wed), the Republic of Botswana became the 11th Country in the series of lectures for the SADC. Mr. Phemelo Telekelo, First Secretary from the Embassy of the Republic of Botswana in Japan gave the lecture. Botswana boasts the highest diamond production in the world and delving deeper into the relationship between the diamond and the country of Botswana made for a very interesting lecture.
This series of lectures is held as a required subject for first-year undergraduates majoring in Africa. To promote exchange between Japan and Southern African Countries, the lectures are also open to TUFS students and faculty members without registration.
