Students From TUFS Competitive Dance Group Won 1st Prize at 60th National All Student Competitive Dance Championships

On the 13th of December 2015 (Sun), at the 60th National All Student Competitive Dance Championships, Ms. Shiori Shiraishi (School of International and Area Studies, Regions of South East Asia, 4th year) and Mr. Takashi Okuno (Tokyo Institute of Technology) won first place in the pairs Cha-Cha category.

At this competition Mr. Yoshihiko Aoki (School of International and Area Studies, regions of West Asia and North Africa, 4th year) and Ms. Fumie Satou (School of International and Area Studies, regions of West Asia and North Africa, 4th year) placed 3rd in the pairs rumba category and Mr. Tomoki Nakazawa (School of Language and Culture Studies, English Language, 4th year) and Ms. Yui Okada (School of Language and Culture Studies, Turkish Language, 4th year) were also awarded 4th place in the pairs Tango category.
TUFS was placed 8th overall and won second place in the FM category.

On the 27th of December (Sat), at the Swallow Cup All Student Dance Competition Championships, Mr. Takuya Tsuyama (International and Area Studies, Regions of South Africa, 3rd year) and Ms. Azusa Satou (International and Area Studies, regions of Russia) won 2nd place in pairs Latin dance category.
