TUFS Students Place Top in 9th Vietnamese Speech Contest

TUFS students performed excellently at the 9th Vietnamese Speech Contest held at Kanda University of Foreign Studies on November 7th, 2015 (Organizer: Kanda University of Foreign Studies / Backer: Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan).

Takako Okuyama (Senior, School of International and Area Studies, East Asia Department) was in Category D, which is for 3rd and 4th years who have studied abroad long term, placing first and winning the top prize. Hiroshi Yoshida (Sophomore, School of International and Area Studies, East Asia Department) was in Category E, which is for students whose parents are Vietnamese, placing second place, while Tamako Yoshino (Sophomore, School of Language and Culture) placed third place in Category B, which is specifically for sophomores.
