A group of 18 high school students from Singapore visits TUFS

On Tuesday, June 16, a group of 18 high school students from Singapore invited by the Foundation for International Assistance to the People of Asia visited TUFS.

Every year the foundation organizes a trip to Japan for students interested in studying in Japan, as part of the foundation’s mission to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Singapore for young and talented leaders of the future.

After Prof. Miyazaki, Vice-President of TUFS gave them a welcome address, Associate Prof. Tomotsune of the Institute of Japan Studies explained admission to TUFS and Tomoko Matsumoto, a 2nd year student of master course, described campus life at TUFS. The students also visited the TUFS library with interest and attentively observed a class instructed in English.
