TUFS Students Come First in Student Dance Competition

On Sunday, June 14th, the 17th Satsukihai Sodatsu Gakusei Kyougi Dance Senshuken Taikai (Literally, the 17th May Cup University Student Dance Competition) was held at Tokyo Metropolitan University and the TUFS Dance Sport Club took part.

Takuya Tsuda (Junior, Urdu major, School of International and Area Studies) and Azusa Saito (Junior, Russian language major, School of International and Area Studies) won in the rumba division for senior students. They also came fifth in the cha-cha division.

This competition comprises two categories: the senior division, which is for junior students, and the junior division, for sophomores. Winners are allowed to perform solo, known as honor dances, after the announcement of the results.
