Warning Regarding the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS‐CoV)

To All TUFS Students,
As you may be aware, the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS ‐CoV) is currently spreading in the Republic of Korea, China, and surrounding countries. MERS is a viral respiratory disease that can spread from person to person. It has an incubation period of 2 to 14 days and its main symptoms are fever, coughing, and shortness of breath.
All students are asked to be on full alert concerning the epidemic. Students should gather information from reliable websites and press releases to prevent an eventual epidemic. Please read the warning issued by the WHO about the virus (refer to the URL below).
If you have any questions, please visit us at the Student Exchange Division or the Healthcare Center on campus.
