Report of Emergency Donation for Nepal Quake Victims

The Japanese Language Center for International Students (JLC TUFS) raised 100,070 yen for Nepali earthquake victims from May 7th to 22nd.

TUFS graduates who are well versed in Japan and Nepal introduced donors, taking advantage of their network. The donated money was sent to Innoseva, an institute where these graduates serve as main members.

Transfer fees were subsidized by the money raised.

TUFS Information Center for Social and International Collaboration also has asked its faculty members for donations. 

As of June 10th, about 130,000 yen was raised.

The campaign will continue until June 30th.
