Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute Plays "Ivanov"

On Wednesday, June 3rd, a theater company from the Boris Schukin Theatre Institute performed “Ivanov” by Anton Chekhov at Prometheus Hall, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. (Host: Japan committee of the Russian Cultural Festival. Sponsor: TUFS Institute of Transcultural Studies.)

The Boris Schukin Theatre Institute, which marks the 100th anniversary of its foundation this year, is a prestigious Russian theater university. The members who delivered the play were graduates of the institute. The play was performed with Japanese subtitles.

Many students who are interested in the Russian language and plays came and enjoyed the performance.
