Republic of Namibia 25th Anniversary Special Lecture Held

On Wednesday, April 8th, the Republic of Namibia 25th Anniversary Special Lecture was held at TUFS. Professor Graham Popwood (Executive Director, Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) specializes in Namibian society, politics, economy. He delivered a speech "Namibia at 25: Perspectives on Achievements, Challenges and the Potential Relationship with Japan". 

This special lecture was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Namibian independence. The Namibian Embassy offered TUFS the opportunity to host the lecture.

Not only TUFS students , but also ambassadors and officials of African countries attended the event. They had a great opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the history of Namibia, political democratization, and relations between Japan and Nambia. 

Before the lecture, Her Excellency Ms. Sophia-Namupa Nangombe and professor Popwood paid a courtesy call to TUFS president Tateishi.
