Opening Ceremony of 2nd Global Japan Office Held in Tamkang University

TUFS has set a plan to establish thirty eight "Global Japan Offices" at major partner universities around the world in the next ten years. 
This plan is to suport the university 's internationalization and improve Japanese studnets' ability to send messages to the world. Both are targets of the TUFS Top Global University Project.

On March 6th, the opening ceremony of the second Global Japan Office in Tamkang University took place. Tamkang University president Flora Chia-l Chang, TUFS president Tateishi and faculty members from the two universities attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, which took place in an international conference hall, there was a second ceremony to install the sign of the Global Japan Office, as well as a remote Japanese lesson at the office. 

The office is located in the building in the Tamkang University and will be utilized as the center of the Joint Education Program, which connects studnets learning Japanese at TUFS and Tamkang University. 
Events which introduce Japan and extracurricular activities sucha s Japanese supplementary classes are scheduled.
