TUFS Student Wins Third Prize in German Speech Competition

The 15th National Student German Speech Contest took place on December 6th. Saori Tonomura(Senior, Faculty of Foreign Studies, German Major) came in third for her speech “Why do you learn foreign languages? (Warum lernt man Fremdsprachen?)”. The competition was hosted by the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in cooperation with the German Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, the Austrian Embassy and other institutions.
