TUFS Dean Iwasaki Conducts Lecture at Wada Junior High School in Suginami

On Saturday, December 13th, TUFS dean Minoru Iwasaki (School of International and Area Studies) carried out a lecture at a social studies class, “Universal Yononaka-Ka”(literally Universal Society Class) at Wada Junior High School in Suginami, Tokyo. The lecture was presented as part of the High School-University Partnership.

The Saturday event was realized with support from the Yomiuri Educational Network Project organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun. Guest speakers from Toray Industry, Nippon Life Insurance Company, Nomura Holdings, and Fujitsu also addressed the junior high schoolers.
Dean Iwasaki gave a Q&A-based class about globalization and global society to second-year students. The event was open to the public.
