The Third Joint Degree with University of Bologna is Conferred

  On the basis of cotutelle, an agreement on joint supervision of the doctoral thesis between TUFS and University of Bologna, final examination of Sayaka Yokota's doctoral thesis was conducted from 2:30 pm on Thursday June 27 at University of Bologna. Consequently, a doctoral degree of drama, music and film was conferred on her.
  Thesis title: The dance of futurism: Giannina Censi and modern dance
     (La danza nel futurismo: Giannina Censi e la danza moderna)
  She wrote her thesis under the joint supervision of Professor Tadahiko Tada (TUFS) and Professor Elena Cervellati (University of Bologna), supported by the International Training Program for Young Researcher by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Her final examination was conducted at School of Arts at University of Bologna with four committee members: Professor Silvia Carandini (University of Rome) and Professor Eugenia Casini Ropa (University of Bologna) in addition to the joint supervisors.
  She is the third person to have received a doctoral degree in accordance with cotutelle between TUFS and University of Bologna.
