Japan-Germany Tandem Camp Held by Japanese and German students

January 9, 2014

“Japan-Germany Tandem Camp 2013” was held from Saturday, September 14th to Thursday the 19th at Kusatsu Seminar House which is a cooperative shared facility for national universities. German major students at TUFS and Japanese major students at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg participated in this camp to teach their languages and cultures in pairs. It is the third time to take place and 24 students from TUFS and 22 students from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg took part in the 6-day 5-night camp this year. Even though they were hit by a typhoon during the first half of the camp, it was very fruitful since every participant worked hard on practicing using languages and learned a lot from the cultural exchange between Japan and Germany.
