published January 18, 2018

This relay lecture series is held by the Southern African Development Community (SADC), and is held second period every Wednesday in the fall semester as a required subject for first-year undergraduates majoring in African Studies at TUFS. Now we would like to introduce the four lectures that took place from the 18th of October - 8th of November 2017.

【Lecture Two】October 18th (Wednesday), Zambia, Her Excellency Mrs. Ndiyoi Muliwana Mutiti
【Lecture Three】October 25th (Wednesday), Tanzania, Minister Plenipotentiary John F. Kambona and Minister Plenipotentiary Mrs. Bernadetha F. Malima
【Lecture Four】November 1st (Wednesday), South Africa, His Excellency Mr. Thulani Dlomo
【Lecture Five】November 8th (Wednesday), Namibia, Her Excellency Ms. Sophia-Namupa Nangombe

The lecturers put great effort into preparing the lecture content and visual materials, and the students were introduced to the history of political movements, economics and industrial trends, tourism, and Japan relations in each country from their suzerainty and independence to the present day. The students actively asked questions based on their own studies, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy conversing with the lecturers.
