Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lecturer Presents Information Session on Crisis Management while Travelling Abroad

published July 5, 2017

On Wednesday 7th June 2017, TUFS welcomed Mr. Tsuda Susumu, Senior Coordinator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular Affairs Bureau Japanese Nationals Overseas Safety Division for the 'Information Session on Crisis Management while Travelling Abroad'. This information session was targeted at all those planning to study abroad including as overseas students and on short visits, in addition to those planning to travel abroad for other purposes

In his lecture, Mr. Tsuda gave examples of difficulties encountered at travel destinations and how to manage them, serious incidents and accidents related to overseas students and the lessons to be learned from them, and the responses of Japanese people to incidents and accidents occurring overseas. A high degree of interest among the students was evident, with countless questions being asked right up until the finishing time.

The Student Exchange Division is hoping to hold similar information sessions in the future. We encourage those who could not attend this time to come to the next session.
