Public Online Lectures by Prof. Sugiono & Prof. Isezaki	2007-04-06

On November 8 and 9, 2006, the PCS Global Campus Program organized a two-day online event, which served as a trial of online lectures & discussions. All sessions of this event were transmitted to Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, via video conferencing systems. On this occasion, Prof. Muhadi Sugiono of Gadjah Mada University was invited as a special speaker, delivering lectures on security and peace in the ASEAN region and peace education in Indonesia. Prof. Kenji Isezaki of TUFS also joined the event, talking about PCS issues in Indonesia while sharing his experiences in East Timor and Aceh. The event was open to public. Constructive dialogues on security issues and peace education in contemporary ASEAN society were developed among all participants on both Indonesian and Japanese sides.
